In April 2024, thanks to support for our New Futures and Parent Child Plus programs and our partnership with Westside Baby, we were able to provide essential resources to families in need! 

These numbers represent more than just statistics; they embody the tangible difference we are making in the lives of youth and families within our community. Here are a couple of stories to highlight the depth of the impact:

Story 1: A Lifeline for a Single Mom

One of our Family Advocates recently received a call from a new single mom in desparate need of diapers for her twins. Thanks to this partnership, we were able to provide her with the boxes of diapers she needed, offering er not only material assistance but also the reassurance that she is not alone in her journey as a single mom. 

Story 2: Providing Relief to a Struggling Family

At one of our sites, a grandmother came by to thank us for the diapers we provided. She explained how the diapers have been a significant help, especially considering the financial strain they’ve been experiencing. With the daughter focusing on her apprenticeship to become a nurse and the husband as the sole breadwinner, receiving diapers has eased their burden and brought immense relief to their family.
