This week, the CRC/New Futures team had the exciting opportunity to visit the Amazon AWS Skill Center, where they delved into a world of technology and innovation.
Led by the center’s director, Maria Patrova, the team gained valuable insights into the various technology training offered, including beginning cloud certification, AI training, and technology 101. Maria provided an in-depth overview of the center’s offerings, highlighting the diverse range of courses available to individuals looking to enhance their technological skills. From introductory courses to advanced certifications, the Amazon AWS Skill Center is paving the way for individuals to thrive in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
For the CRC/New Futures staff, this visit sparked a wave of inspiration and possibilities. They could already envision the potential for incorporating trips to the AWS Center into their summer program offerings, providing our participants with hands-on experiences and valuable exposure to cutting-edge technology.
